Are my donations eligible for Gift aid?

Yes. University of Sussex has charitable status for all UK tax purposes. So if you are eligible for the Gift Aid scheme Sussex can claim an extra 25% on donations you have made in the last four years and on future donations once we receive your declaration.

Sussex is an exempt charity under Schedule 2 of the Charities Act 1993. Our exempt Charity Number is XN1306

Is my payment secure?

Yes. All payments through will be securely processed by Stripe www.stripe.com/gb/privacy and Stripe US www.stripe.com/en-US/privacy.

Why is my payment not going through?

Please check that you have included your postcode in both the address field and the card details field of the gift form. For any further queries please email alumni@sussex.ac.uk

Can I see my gift on this website?

Yes! If you’ve chosen not to make your gift anonymous, you can take a look at the donor wall to see your name.

Is there another way to donate to you other than online?
